Pay tribute to the French capital of cutlery with this table knife and its special design. The Thiers® shape of our knives is manufactured only in the Thiernois basin, according to a very strict specification!
This steak knife, proposed by La Grande Coutellerie, has a smooth blade that does not tear the meat. It has been forged in a very high quality steel, sharp and easily re-sharpened thanks to the fine and regular emouture of its two sides of the blade.
The handle is made of matt black bakelite, its elegance will be invited both on your daily table and during your receptions.
All of our knives are 100% French and artisanal. They were manufactured in the workshops of master craftsman and cutlery Claude Dozorme, by artisans and according to traditional methods.
This Thiers® knife is made in France, it has been manufactured by skilled craftsmen within our own Claude Dozorme cutlery workshops.
The blade was forged in a X50CrMoV15 steel made of:
0.50 carbon which gives the cutting edge to the blade
0.15 chromium for stainless steel
1% molybdenum and vanadium for flexibility, which will allow for easy re-rinsing
Very sharp and smooth, it can be easily resharpened thanks to the emouture of its two sides. The sharpening is razor and its cutting hold excellent.
The matt black bakelite handle is dishwasher safe, it has stainless steel nails.
The table knives are delivered in a beech box that can be kept for the storage of your cutlery and that is ideal as a gift.
