Wood box of Laguiole cheese knife + spreader no bolster
Due to chrismas holidays of our factory, products order with a personal engraving can only be shipped from 5 january 2021.
For breakfast or snake, find these two essentials in a box: the spreader and the Laguiole cheese knife.
The Laguiole shape is native to the Aveyron village of the same name. It is distinguished by its curved handle and the bee forged on the spring of the knife.
This set includes:
- A cheese knife with two spikes at the end of the blade, ideal for serving hard cheeses,
- A butter knife that will allow you to spread butter as well as jams or spreads. The sharp blade will cut the butter without difficulty, even hard.
The blade of these two kitchen accessories is made of high quality X50CrMoV15 steel, a stainless steel, very sharp and easily resharpable.
The handle of these two knives is available in several models: aluminium, olive wood, shiny stainless steel or mat stainless steel.
You can also find this spreader or cheese knife delivered separately.
These table accessories are entirely made in France, in the workshops of Master Craftsman and Cutler Claude Dozorme.
The blade of these knives is forged from a high quality X50CrMoV15 steel, which consists of:
- 0.50 of carbon that gives edge to blade
- 0.15 of chromium for stainless steel
- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives flexibility to the blade and thus allows easy re-sharpening
These two kitchen accessories are delivered in a beech wood box.
The cheese knife and the butter knife Laguiole are entirely made in our workshops in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery, by skilled craftsmen and trained in artisanal manufacturing methods.
