Wood box of Laguiole cake server brass bolster
To taste it and to accompany your coffee, nothing beats a good slice of pie! But how to serve the pie in the rules of the art? With a cake server, of course.
Our Laguiole cake server has been specially designed for serving your pie parts. Its slightly rounded blade tip allows you to slide it under your pastry without tearing the dough.
Did you know that you can cut your pie with this cake server? Indeed, the curved and sharp blade allows you to cut parts easily.
We advise you to complete your purchase with matching little dessert spoons. They will be useful to taste your apple pies, as well as to stir the tea that accompanies them!
The cake server has a handle available in exotic wood, light horn, natural nacrin or flake resin. The handle has a brass bolster.
The cake server is handcrafted in our Claude Dozorme Master Craftman and Cutler workshops.
The blade of this cake server is composed of a high quality steel X50CrMoV15, which consists of:
- 0.50 of carbon that gives good cutting edge to the blade
- 0.15 of chromium for stainless steel
- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives the blade flexibility and thus allows easy re-sharpening.
This cake server is delivered in a beech wood box.
This 100% made in France kitchen accessory is entirely made in our workshops by our craftsmen, all trained in traditional and artisanal manufacturing methods.
