The traditional Laguiole pocket knife is revisited to become a real jewel with its Damascus blade and the two guilloché plates.
The traditional Laguiole shape is native to the Aveyron village of the same name. The Laguiole knives are distinguished by their characteristic curved shape and by the bee on the bolster.
This folding knife is 12cm when closed. Its slightly curved handle gives an excellent grip. Nails on the handle of this pocket knife represent the traditional sheperd’s cross. Find this cross on our other traditional Laguiole pocket knives.
This pocket knife has a wood handle. Its blade is made of Damascus steel (Balbach). This very high quality steel is the result of a superposition of 120 layers of steel that give this textured result. It is a meticulous work entirely handmade, so each Damascus is unique.
Entirely made in France, this knife is the result of French and artisanal know-how within the workshops of the Claude Dozorme Cutlery, in which each craftsman is trained in traditional and artisanal manufacturing methods.
The blade of this Laguiole pocket knife is made with a prestigious Damascus steel. This steel is the result of a deep and visible damask patterns.
The thin guillochage of the spring is entirely handmade by our craftsmen. The spring is surrounded by two double plates, also hand-guilloched.
This knife comes in a varnished oak wood box with a warranty certificate and leather protective case.
Our Laguiole knife measures 12cm in closed position and 22cm in open position.
This closing knife is available with a birchwood or green poplar wood handle.
This folding knife is 100% made in France, by skilled craftsmen in the workshops of Master Craftsman Cutler Claude Dozorme.
