The handle of our pocket knife is made of light horn, without any chemical treatment and hand worked in our Claude Dozorme workshops. Raw and authentic, the light horn will sublimate your collector's item.
The blade of this safe knife is made of very high quality steel. It is protected by a locking system, unlocked by a latch at the back of the knife.
For its opening, a system of forced notch blocks the blade. To close it, the latch must be unlocked by pushing it upwards so that the blade can be folded back, then folded down to close the knife completely.

This Claude Dozorme innovation is 100% made in France. It was made in the workshops of Claude Dozorme Cutlery in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery, by skilled and passionate craftsmen.
Technical characteristics :
This Thiers® knife is 100% made in France and is composed of a smooth blade made of a high quality steel, X50CrMoV15.
With a very good cutting resistance, this steel is made of :
- 0.50 carbon : For a clean cut and a sharp blade.
- 0.15 chromium: For stainless steel
- 1% molybdenum and 1% vanadium: For flexibility and easy re-sharpening
The particularity of this hunting knife comes from its very innovative system of opening and closing mechanism, located at the back.
Its handle is made of horn, natural raw material that are not chemically treated.

The Thiers® folding knife is delivered in a grey box reminiscent of the Volvic stone and comes with an explanatory booklet.
