Thiers® RLT pocket knife damascus blade mammoth molar handle

This folding knife will seduce you with its Thiers® shape and its handle in mammoth molar. But even more, it has a very special opening and closing mechanism that makes it unique.

Its ball bearing mechanism prevents the knife from taking up play over time. It replaces the nail system in the Claude Dozorme knives, for a durable knife and secure handling.

On its blade, a sharp tab facilitates its grip and thus the opening of this knife. The guillochage of the spring is done manually by our craftsmen and the grip is excellent thanks to its bolster which gives it weight and a massive appearance. 

The blade of this collection knife is made of Damascus steel, a very high quality steel that consists of superposition of many layers of steel to give this nuanced appearance. This work is entirely handmade, so each Damascus blade is unique.

The handle of this pocket knife is made of mammoth molar red, blue, green or natural. It is equipped with the Thiers shape, only made in the Thiernois basin and respecting a very precise specifications.

This 100% made in France knife was crafted in the Claude Dozorme workshops in Thiers, by skilled craftsmen trained in traditional and artisanal manufacturing methods.

Its blade is forged in Damascus steel, extremely sharp high-end steel.

The guillochage of the spring is entirely done by hand. The mechanism, very innovative, is made by ball bearing.

This knife is completely removable, delivered with a torque wrench. The horn handle, of which several models are available, is mounted with very strong torx screws.

Our product is delivered in a varnished oak wood box with explanations about its ball bearing and the materials used.
