The Laguiole steak fork is made of very high quality X50CrMoV15 steel. The steel is therefore totally stainless.

This classic table fork has a black horn handle, which are delivered in a 6 places beech wood box.
Our Laguiole table forks are entirely made in the workshops of the Claude Dozorme cutlery, in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery. Behind each knife, there is the manual and artisanal work of a skilled craftsman.
The blade of this Laguiole fork goes to the end of the handle, which guarantees it an extreme solidity.
The blade is made of X50CrMoV15 steel, it consists of:
- 0.50 carbon, ,
- 0,15 of chromium, for stainless steel,
- 1% molybdenum and vanadium, which gives flexibility to the blade.
The fork has a shiny stainless steel bolster, which gives weight to the fork. The fork then offers an excellent grip.
The guillochage of the blade, as well as all the stages of making the fork, are entirely handmade in the workshops of the Claude Dozorme cutlery, by our skilled and passionate craftsmen, trained in traditional and artisanal methods.
