Wood box of XXL Thiers® bread knife stainless steel handle
Cut your bread with this original knife, the bread knife XXL Thiers®.
Directly inspired by our Liner Lock Thiers® pocket knives, this original bread knife is also a folding knife. It has a X50CrMoV15 steel blade that is extremely sharp, which will cut clearly and cleanly your bread without break the crust, thanks to the tooth on the blade.
In the closed position, you will realize a real saving of space and storage in your drawers will be easier. This bread knife also ensure a great safety of handling since in the open position, the Liner Lock opening system blocks the blade and in the closed position, the cutting wire of the blade is protected by the handle.
Made in Thiers, the XXL Thiers® bread knife is the result of 100% French manufacture in the workshops of master cutlery Claude Dozorme, by skilled craftsmen, using traditional and artisanal methods.

The steel used in the manufacture of this Thiers® bread knife is the high quality X50CrMoV15 steel:
- 0.50 of carbon for blade edge
- 0.15 of chromium for stainless steel
- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives flexibility to the blade and thus ease of re-sharpening.
The rockwell hardness is between 54 and 56 HCR.
The Thiers® shape can only be manufactured in the Thiernois basin and complies with very strict specifications. This bread knife is entirely manufactured in our Thiernois workshops in France.
This knife is delivered in a beech wood box, to allow you to facilitate storage and store them safely.
