Wood box of XXL Thiers® 2P carving set stainless steel handle
Want to impress your guests during your summer BBQ celebrations? We present our XXL Thiers® carving service.
Directly inspired by our Liner Lock Thiers® pocket knives, this original carving service consists of a folding fork and a folding knife:
- The fork has two large teeth that will allow the meat to be pricked and held for easy cutting,
- The knife has a X50CrMoV15 steel blade that is extremely sharp and very easily reachable, which will cut clearly and cleanly all your meats, but also vegetables and side dishes.
In the closed position, you will realize a real saving of space and storage in your drawers will be easier. These two accessories also ensure a great safety of handling since in the open position, the Liner Lock opening system blocks the blade and in the closed position, the cutting wire of the blade is protected by the handle.
Made in Thiers, the XXL Thiers® knife and fork are the result of 100% French manufacture in the workshops of master cutlery Claude Dozorme, by skilled craftsmen, using traditional and artisanal methods.
The steel used in the manufacture of this Thiers® carving service is the high quality X50CrMoV15 steel:
- 0.50 of carbon for blade edge
- 0.15 of chromium for stainless steel
- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives flexibility to the blade and thus ease of re-sharpening.
The rockwell hardness is between 54 and 56 HCR.
The Thiers® shape can only be manufactured in the Thiernois basin and complies with very strict specifications. This carving service is entirely manufactured in our Thiernois workshops in France.
These kitchen accessories are delivered in a beech wood box, to allow you to facilitate storage and store them safely.
